Scheme and dimensions of exercises on the circuit. V

Passing the exam at the race track involves first passing the theory. Only after successfully passing the theoretical part, the examinee is allowed to pass the standards at the race track, after which he proceeds to the final part of the exam - going to the city with a traffic police inspector.

The driving test itself at the motorway begins with arrival at the traffic police station. After announcing the name, the cadet gets into the car and begins to pass the standards. The examiner may sit in a separate car or next to the examinee (most often in a separate car). While passing the standards, he looks at the implementation and records errors, if any.

If the examinee scores 5 penalty points, a signal is given indicating the completion of the test. Usually the signal is given from the car where the traffic police officer taking the exam is sitting. If all the exercises are completed correctly, you complete the circuit test and park in the designated space.

If, due to mistakes made, you are not credited for passing the autodrome, then check with the driving school about the retake date, pay the amount for renting the autodrome and the car set by the driving school, and try your hand again.

What exercises are required to pass the circuit?

At the race track, the cadet must demonstrate successful completion of all exercises, avoiding penalty points.

Check-in to the garage

Passing this standard involves entering a certain limited space that simulates a parking space or garage. Successful execution is counted if the car is standing inside a limited space and no part of it protrudes beyond its limits.

Parallel parking, or “mother-in-law’s pocket”

It is necessary to drive in reverse into a certain space marked with chips or flags. It simulates parking between two cars. Ideal execution implies the location of the car within the boundaries of the marked space. At the same time, no part of it should protrude beyond the designated boundaries.

Snake

The exercise teaches you to feel the dimensions of the car. It is necessary to drive around all the signs (cones, flags) without dropping any, and not to go beyond the structure. You seem to be moving along a corridor, quickly turning the steering wheel from the extreme left to the extreme right.

Turning around in confined spaces

To pass this figure, you need to perform a 180 degree turn in the marked space. This is a kind of imitation of a U-turn in a yard full of cars. A useful skill that will undoubtedly come in handy in the future.

Overpass

The exercise simulates a car starting to move at an angle. This is a very useful skill when driving in the city. A car drives uphill onto an overpass and stops at an angle. Then you need to put the car on the handbrake. Then you need to move off without rolling back and completely drive over the overpass, sliding down from it.

How to prepare for the test at the race track

Preparation should begin at home. Dress comfortably. Try to choose the shoes you wore to classes at the race track when you were trained at a driving school. Nothing should drag or hinder movement.

Get your thoughts in order. Everyone is worried. Assess your level of anxiety. Understand that passing the traffic police exam is just one of the stages of your life. This is not something out of the ordinary. As they say, you are not the first, you are not the last.

If necessary, take a mild sedative with you to the exam. The main thing is that it does not cause a hypnotic effect.

Arrive for the exam ahead of the scheduled time. As a rule, instructors arrive at the race track in advance. This way you can run the program in a new place before the exam. Even if you don’t have the opportunity to take a test drive, before the test, walk around the race track, evaluate where there are bumps and protrusions, how the flags are located, how far they are from each other.

Also pay attention to the elevation angle of the overpass. It may be flatter than the one you were used to when you were learning, or, conversely, have a steeper angle. Also take weather conditions into account. If you rent in winter, then there is a possibility of ice in certain places. If it rained at night, then the asphalt is wet, and this should also be taken into account when taking the exercise on an overpass.

Try to go first if possible. Practice shows that at the beginning of the list the percentage of those who pass successfully is much higher. And you don’t need the extra anxiety that will accumulate while the others are passing.

Basic mistakes

Most of the mistakes made by cadets in the exam are due to the lack of sufficient hours spent in the training vehicle. In other words, cadets sometimes come with a low level of preparation, not realizing that their level of practice is not enough either to pass or to drive in the city. It is important to understand that by practicing and doing exercises on the racetrack, you not only develop your eye, learn to feel the sound of the car and its dimensions, but also fill yourself with confidence by spending more time behind the wheel.

Natalya Vavilina, head of the educational department of Sverdlovsk Driving School LLC:

“The cadets are given exercises in different ways, as before. If 10 years ago the exercise on an overpass was difficult, now the cadets answer that it is difficult for someone to drive into a garage because they do not understand which way to turn the steering wheel. Some people find it difficult to make 90-degree turns because they don’t feel the size of the car. Among the easy ones are parallel parking, snake and stop line. But over time, everything returns to normal, and with each lesson it becomes easier. Among the difficulties in the exam in the city, they note interfering cars and pedestrians.”

Nikita Orlov, auto expert:

« Having decided to learn to drive, you must remember that in addition to the theory of driving a car itself, skills such as an eye, the ability to calculate the situation, and sometimes intuition will play a big role in successful learning. Many, having completed training at a driving school, already received a driver’s license and having found themselves in some unpleasant situation on the road, give up driving, thinking that “it’s not for me.” At the same time, only through hard work and daily practice can you master the basics of driving a vehicle. If driving out on the road is still scary, it’s better to hire a driving instructor who will show you the features of driving your particular car and provide serious psychological support.”

Only experience and practice will help you pass the racetrack the first time. Be confident.

After studying at a driving school, start practicing your skills on the road as early as possible. We recommend taking an inexpensive used car as your first car. At first, not everything will be smooth for you, but with a used car you won’t worry about the integrity of the car.

Our blog will help you make your choice. There we analyze the problems of cars of different models. And when you find the car of your dreams,

Good afternoon, dear reader.

The updated regulations establish a new procedure for passing exams at the circuit. At the same time, the changes affected both the organization of the exercises themselves and the features of their implementation:

Penalty points for hitting a marking

113.2. Drive your wheel onto the marking line marking the boundaries of the test exercise areas, or knock over the marking equipment 3 or more times.

113.3. He drove (crossed the wheel) beyond the boundaries of the test exercise areas, marked by road marking lines 1.1 white or 1.4 yellow and marking cones (marking posts).

113.2. Knocked down marking equipment 3 or more times.

113.3. According to the projection of the vehicle size, he drove beyond the boundaries of the test exercise areas, marked by road marking lines 1.1 white or 1.4 yellow and marking cones (marking posts), or drove his wheel onto the marking line marking the boundaries of the test exercise areas, depending on the conditions of the test. exercises.

Previously, hitting the markings marking the boundary of an exercise with a wheel was a mistake. However, a driver candidate could make such a mistake three times.

Starting from October 14, 2017, this error has been moved to clause 113.3. Now the driver can be punished both for hitting the marking line with a wheel, and for crossing the line with the vehicle's dimensions (for example, a bumper). The first such violation will result in termination of the exam.

Please note again:

  • The clearance (bumper) should not cross the marking line. Those. if the edge of the bumper is above the line, then this is not an error. As soon as the edge of the bumper is “outside” of the markings, the test will be stopped.
  • For wheels, the requirements are more stringent. As soon as the wheel hits the markings, the exam stops. Those. the wheel may not go beyond the boundaries of the exercise, but the exam will already be failed.

Penalty points for motor vehicles

113.12. When passing the exam for the right to drive vehicles of categories “M”, “A” or subcategory “A1”, touched the surface of the platform with his foot (feet) 3 or more times in cases where the touch was not provided for by the conditions of the exercise or did not give a turn signal 2 or more times times in cases where the giving of these signals is provided for by the conditions of the exercise.

113.12. When passing the exam for the right to drive vehicles of categories “M”, “A” or subcategory “A1”, he touched the surface of the platform with his foot (feet) 3 or more times in cases where the touch was not provided for by the conditions of the exercise, or allowed the vehicle to overturn.

1. The error that the driver did not give a turn signal 2 or more times was excluded from the list. Let me remind you that you only need to give turn signals once (when performing the exercise “Stopping to safely board or disembark passengers”), therefore, due to this violation, it was impossible to fail the exam before.

2. Added a new bug that causes a two-wheeler to roll over. If a driver candidate falls from a motorcycle or moped, the exam will be completed.

Retention period for exam videos

115. Information obtained using audio and video recording of the process of conducting practical exams is transferred to the automated information system of the examination department.

115. Information obtained using audio and video recording of the process of conducting practical examinations, no later than 1 business day following the day of the examination, is transferred to electronic media stored in the examination department. The storage period for the information received is at least 1 month from the date of the exam.

An interesting innovation that will be useful to those driver candidates who want to appeal the results of the exam to the traffic police. Now the regulations clearly define the storage period for audio and video recordings of exams - 1 month.

Previously, the storage period for files was not regulated, so in some cases problems arose when appealing, because records were deleted even before the examinee applied.

Installation of cones and stands at the race track

Another important innovation, which is primarily intended for driving schools that own racing tracks. Although it can also make life easier for driver candidates:

First of all, let's look at the new symbols in the diagrams:

1. Image entered " area for installing cones or stands". Within such a zone, marking equipment is installed by the driving school employees in compliance with certain rules (they will be discussed below). It is important that the specific installation locations of the posts and cones are determined by the driving school employee himself, i.e. he can arrange them so that the student it was easier to navigate when performing the exercise.

2. The "marking cone" image has been renamed to " marking cone or marking stand"First, let's look at how a marking cone differs from a marking stand (they are shown in the figure on the left). The cone has a small height, so when driving a car it is difficult to see through a window or through rear-view mirrors. The stand has a large height, so it can be seen much more better.

This innovation solves one important problem that driving schools might encounter. Readers of the site previously wrote that in some regions the traffic police require that exercises be organized in strict accordance with the schemes. Those. It turned out that in almost all exercises the examiners required the use of only cones. As a result, students had difficulty completing many exercises, because, for example, reversing into a “garage door” without seeing the gate itself is a very difficult task.

Starting from October 14, 2017, this problem will no longer exist and marking posts can be installed almost everywhere. Driving schools that are interested in the results of their students will place stands instead of cones in all possible places, because... this makes it easier to submit.

3. A special image has been introduced " marking cone". That is, in some exercises only cones will be used without fail.

If you carefully study the text of the regulations, you will see that cones are mandatory only for passing exams on two-wheeled vehicles (motorcycles or mopeds). In exercises for cars and buses, marking posts can be used throughout.

The distance between marking cones (marking posts) should be no more than 2 m. The height of marking posts should be at least 1 m.

The distance between marking cones (marking posts) in the areas where marking cones and (or) marking posts are installed must be at least 1 m and no more than 2 m. The height of marking cones is no more than 0.5 m, the height of marking posts is at least 1 m.

The boundaries of exercise areas during periods of negative ambient temperatures in the presence of stable snow cover are marked by marking cones or marking posts in accordance with the exercise schemes. In this case, the distance between the marking cones (marking posts) in the areas where marking cones and (or) marking posts are installed should be no more than 1 m.

The updated regulations also provide information on the dimensions of marking equipment:

  • The height of the cone is less than 0.5 m.
  • The height of the rack is more than 1 m.

In addition, requirements have been introduced for the placement of equipment inside the installation zones of marking posts or cones:

  • In the warm season, the distance between elements is from 1 to 2 meters.
  • In the cold season, the distance should not exceed 1 meter.

Please note that we are not talking about all the boundaries of the exercises, but specifically about the zones (which are indicated on the diagrams by a new conventional image).

Autodrome maintenance in winter

During periods of negative ambient temperatures in the presence of stable snow cover, the start and end points of exercises are marked with marking cones or marking posts in accordance with the exercise diagrams.

In the cold season, poles or cones are used instead of markings on the racetrack. It is these elements that indicate both the boundaries of the exercises and the lines of the beginning and end of the elements.

During periods of negative ambient temperatures, exercise areas and areas of a racing track, automated racing track or closed area in areas where vehicles move must be treated with de-icing materials.

In addition, in winter the race track must be treated with anti-ice materials.

A, M - maneuvering exercise

The examiner determines for the examination 3 of the 4 elements included in this exercise, taking into account the existing conditions for performing the entire exercise, including the possibility of simultaneous placement of elements, the traffic management scheme used on a race track, an automated race track or an enclosed area.

The first unpleasant innovation for driver candidates taking the test on a motorcycle or moped is the increase in the number of elements on the race track. Let me remind you that the maneuvering exercise consists of 4 elements, but previously in the traffic police exam you only had to take 3 elements at the examiner’s choice. Starting from October 14, 2017 you will have to pass all 4 parts of the exercise.

The change is certainly unpleasant, because... the exam gets longer. However, this innovation will not require additional training, because Driver candidates already learn to perform all of the above elements.

The following innovation will primarily be of interest to driving school employees:

Scheme “A” of exercise element No. 1 - “High-speed maneuvering”.

Scheme “B” of exercise element No. 1 - “High-speed maneuvering”.

We are talking about the “Speed maneuvering” exercise. The updated regulations provide for 2 options for organizing the site for this exercise. In this case, you can choose a scheme that fits better into the configuration of the circuit.

Please note that new symbols have appeared on the diagrams of this exercise - a marking cone and an installation zone.

A, M - exercise stop to disembark a passenger

The stopping exercise pattern has changed slightly. It now uses 3 cone or post installation zones instead of clearly marked cone installation locations.

B, C, D - flyover exercise

  • at the examiner's command continues to move in a forward direction, preventing the vehicle from rolling back more than 0.3 m;

An important change for car exams. When starting on an incline, the candidate driver must wait for the examiner's command and only then begin driving.

B, C, D - exercise turns

The candidate driver alternately makes left and right turns along a given trajectory (Figure 8).

The driver candidate alternately makes left and right turns or right and left turns along a given trajectory, depending on the traffic management scheme used at the race track, automated race track or closed area (Figure 8).

This exercise has undergone minor changes. Now the order of turns can be any and depends on the layout of the circuit.

B, C, D - turn exercise

The driver candidate makes a turn along a given trajectory using reverse gear (Figure 9).

The driver candidate makes a U-turn along a given trajectory using one-time engaging reverse gear (Figure 9).

The only change in the U-turn exercise is the direct indication that reverse gear can only be engaged once.

B, C, D - snake exercise

The candidate driver alternately makes left and right turns along a given trajectory (Figure 10).

The candidate driver alternately makes left and right turns or right and left turns along a given trajectory, depending on the traffic management scheme used at the race track, automated race track or closed area (Figure 10).

The first change is the ability to organize turns in different sequences.

The second change is a decrease in distance B in the figure. This will have a slight effect on the execution of the exercise.

B, C, D - exercise entry into boxing

  • maneuvering in reverse, places the vehicle in the box so that the projection of the vehicle's front dimensions crosses the reference line;
  • maneuvering in reverse when engaging reverse gear once, places the vehicle in the box so that the projection of the front clearance of the vehicle crosses the control line;

Firstly, the description of the exercise clearly states that reverse gear can only be engaged once.

Secondly, the exercise diagram has been updated, which now has 2 zones for installing cones or racks. In this exercise, driving school representatives need to arrange the racks in such a way that they can serve as an additional guide for driver candidates.

B, C, D - parallel parking exercise

  • places the vehicle in the parking space, moving in reverse so that the projection of the left side of the vehicle crosses the reference line (Figure 12);
  • after crossing the line for starting the exercise, fixes the vehicle in a stationary state;
  • places the vehicle in a parking space, moving in reverse when reverse gear is engaged once so that the projection of the left side of the vehicle crosses the control line (Figure 12);

Firstly, now during the exercise, before entering the parking space, the car should be stationary.

Secondly, the new edition clearly states that reverse gear can only be engaged once.

Thirdly, the exercise pattern has been slightly changed. Now there is an area for installing cones or stands.

BE, CE, DE - new exercise schemes

The exercise schemes for vehicle trains have also undergone slight changes. They have added areas for installing cones or racks and additional racks:

Only candidates who have successfully passed the theory are allowed to the site (autodrome). The site is accepted immediately after completion of the theoretical part of the exam. Test takers are told what time they need to arrive at the race track.
There's no need to linger. It is better to arrive early, especially if the exam is taken at a “foreign” site, and not at the race track of your driving school. This way you can assess the conditions of the site and, perhaps, drive through the new territory with an instructor before the traffic police inspector appears.

While studying at a driving school, you practiced five exercises: a U-turn, an overpass, a snake, entering a box (garage) in reverse and parallel parking. During the exam, you will need to complete three exercises out of five at the examiner’s choice (including the obligatory flyover). For each mistake a certain number of penalty points is awarded. Points are counted separately for each exercise. If you score 5 or more points in one exercise, you will be given a “failed” rating.

Comfortable clothes - “Yes”, sedatives - “No”

When going to the exam, choose comfortable clothes and shoes. Equip yourself so that nothing gets in your way. You should not take sedatives - this slows down the reaction. If you are afraid that strong anxiety will prevent you from demonstrating your skills during the exam, learn a few relaxation exercises in advance. And there is no need to worry. The circuit is considered an easy stage. Most candidates pass this part on the first try.

General instructions

All exercises begin at the starting line.
The car should be parked so that its front bumper does not cross the stop line. At the start, you need to shift the gear lever to neutral and raise the parking brake. Then you need to engage the gear, remove the car from the handbrake and start driving.
The exercises are completed at the stop line after the vehicle is set to the parking brake.

Overpass

Drive onto the overpass so that all the car’s wheels are on an inclined surface, but the car’s bumper does not cross the stop line. You stop. Raise the parking brake and place the lever in neutral. Then engage first gear, press the clutch and gas pedal.
When the tachometer needle reaches 3000 rpm, gradually begin to release the clutch pedal. The tachometer needle gradually drops. When it reaches 1200 rpm, you need to stop your foot by holding the pedal in the half-released position. Remove the car from the handbrake. After the car begins to move, smoothly release the pedal to the end.

Error Penalty points
1 5
2 Did not fix the vehicle in a stationary state on an inclined section 5
3 Allowed a rollback when starting on an inclined section of more than 0.3 meters 5
4 Crossed the "Stop" line according to the projection of the front clearance of the vehicle 5
5 3
6 Crossed the "Stop-l" line when stopping on an inclined section 3
7 3
8 Did not apply the parking brake after stopping before the Stop line 3

Entering the box in reverse

Take the car off the handbrake and start moving straight until the front wheel is level with the first corner pole of the “garage”. You stop. Turn the steering wheel all the way in the direction opposite to the garage. Move forward until the second nearest corner garage pole appears in the mirror. Return the steering wheel to the “straight” position.
Move in reverse until the second nearest pole is level with the rear door. You stop. Turn the steering wheel all the way towards the second pole. Continue moving backwards, monitoring the position of the car using the rearview mirrors. Stop when the vehicle is parallel to the side “walls” of the garage.
Set the steering wheel straight. Continue driving until the car enters the garage. When performing the exercise, make sure that no part of the vehicle, including side mirrors, protrudes beyond the box.

Error Penalty points
1 Knocked down elements of marking equipment or crossed the horizontal marking line of the site 5
2 5
3 3
4 Did not engage neutral gear after stopping with the engine running 3
5 3
6 The engine stalled while performing the exercise 1

U-turn

It is required to perform a 180 degree turn on a limited square with a length and width equal to two vehicle lengths. Start the exercise from the starting line. Remove the car from the handbrake, move the car to the right side of the square as close as possible to the middle pole and stop without crossing the solid line.
Turn the steering wheel to the left as far as possible. Move forward towards the middle pole on the opposite side. Then you stop and start driving in reverse until there is enough space in front of you to move forward to the stop line.

Error Penalty points
1 Knocked down elements of marking equipment or crossed the horizontal marking line of the site 5
2 Crossed the "Stop" line (according to the projection of the front clearance of the vehicle) 5
3 Could not turn around when engaging reverse gear once 3
4 Did not engage neutral gear after stopping with the engine running 3
5 Did not apply the parking brake after stopping in a parking zone 3
6 The engine stalled while performing the exercise 1

Snake

It is necessary to go around all the poles without hitting them and without crossing the solid side lines. Remove the parking brake, engage the gear and start moving along the snake to the stop line. The best option is to release the clutch pedal, but do not press the gas pedal while driving. This will ensure a smooth ride and make the exercise easier.

Parallel parking

Move straight until the rear wheel of the car is level with the corner pole that limits the pocket. You stop. Turn the steering wheel all the way towards the pocket. Then move in reverse until the corner marker appears in the mirror in the far corner of the pocket. You stop again. Turn the steering wheel so that the vehicle moves straight.
Start reversing again until the car wheel crosses the broken line. Turn the steering wheel all the way in the direction opposite to the pocket. Continue to drive in reverse until the car is in your pocket. Stop driving when the vehicle is parallel to the imaginary direction of travel on the main road.

Error Penalty points
1 Knocked down elements of marking equipment or crossed the horizontal marking line of the site 5
2 Did not cross the dotted line (according to the projection of the vehicle’s side marker) 5
3 Could not enter the parking zone when reverse gear was engaged once 3
4 Did not engage neutral gear after stopping with the engine running 3
5 Did not apply the parking brake after stopping in a parking zone 3
6 The engine stalled while performing the exercise 1

In order to obtain the right to drive a vehicle, you must pass an exam - both the practical part and the theoretical part. Practice is given at a special site.

Concept

The site for passing the practical exam at the traffic police is a special area that is deliberately located away from main roads and highways.

This area is equipped with a flyover and designated areas for performing various exercises that are part of the practical exam.

All these exercises are performed in a training vehicle.

Legislation

  1. This area has special markings, the requirements for which are
  2. Examinations are conducted in accordance with

Traffic police examination site

Before a future driver is allowed to undergo practical tests at the traffic police vehicle inspection site, a large number of hours are “rolled” with him.

Many classes also take place on the racing track, including so that the required exercises do not come as a surprise to the student.

It is for this reason that the tests themselves do not become an insurmountable obstacle for the future driver. However, about half of applicants do not pass the “site” the first time.

Video: in detail

Time frame

The smaller and faster the transport, the more stringent the requirements are for the time to pass obstacles. Thus, to pass the exam for obtaining a license of categories A, M and A1, parking and leaving the parking lot must be completed within 2 minutes. While for category D more time is allocated for this.

Total you need to complete 3 exercises. And the maximum time is allotted for each task.

Thus, for obtaining a driver’s license of categories A, M and subcategory A1, the following time frames are established:

1. exercise 1 , which includes:

  • overall "eight" - 35 seconds;
  • "snake" - 20 seconds;
  • high-speed maneuvering – 35 seconds;
  • overall corridor – 15 seconds.

2. parking and leaving the parking lot – 2 minutes;
3. boarding and disembarking passengers – 15 seconds.

The heavier and larger the vehicle, the more time is allocated for performing exercises.

For example, for the delivery of licenses for automobile categories “B”, “C” and “D”, as well as subcategories “B1”, “C1” and “D1”, 2 minutes for each exercise.

To obtain licenses of categories “BE”, “CE” and “DE” and subcategories “C1E” and “D1E” it is necessary to complete each exercise within 3 minutes. In addition, more exercises have been developed for such heavy-duty vehicles.

The most difficult of them is exercise 9“Coupling and uncoupling or uncoupling and re-coupling the trailer from the towing vehicle.” It must be completed in maximum 10 minutes.

It is not prohibited to ask outsiders for help. The future driver will have the opportunity to ask someone from those waiting their turn at the exam to guide the tractor when approaching the trailer in reverse, and to assist in the coupling.

Stopping and starting on an incline

To pass this part of the practical exam, the future driver must go through the following stages, according to

  • stop the car in front of the line " STOP 1» so that all wheels are on the lifting section;
  • now it is necessary to fix the vehicle in a stationary state;
  • Now you need to start moving again. At the same time, you must not allow the car to roll back more than 0.3 m;
  • you need to stop before the line " STOP 2", but no more than a distance 1m;
  • if the exercise is performed on a car with a manual transmission, then the car must be put in “neutral”, fixing it in a stationary state;
  • Now you can start moving again and cross the line " STOP 2».

Beginning drivers are very worried about performing this exercise, since most of them “fall out” on it. People call it “overpass”. However, it is mandatory to perform it, as it allows you to understand how clearly the driver feels the pedals.

Maneuvering in confined spaces

This exercise consists of 3-х elements.

Typically, the examiner will ask you to do 2 of the 3 below:

  • turns on 90 degrees;
  • turning in a confined space;
  • "snake".

According to , in order to make a turn on 90 degrees, the future driver will need to make alternating left and right turns within a limited space.

U-turn

In the language of driving instructors, this exercise is called a “turn in 3 reception" (). That is, the future driver must make a complete turn of the car 180 degrees within a limited space in 3 reception.

This exercise is considered simple.

You need to do it like this:

  • left turn;
  • reversing while turning the steering wheel to the right;
  • moving forward with the car in the opposite position to the original one.

It is necessary to start turning the vehicle from the middle of the limited space, because If the future driver crosses the middle of the space allotted for maneuver, the car will not have enough turning radius, and it will hit the limit line, and this will be considered an error for which points will be deducted.

The length of the corridor is 3 car lengths + 1 m, the width of the corridor is 2 car lengths.

Snake

At first glance, the exercise seems simple. But that's not true! According to, when performing this exercise, the future driver is prohibited from crossing solid lines, while alternately making right and left turns.

It is also forbidden to knock down the cones that limit the space.

The following nuances must be observed:

1. the speed of execution of the element should be reduced;
2. at the end of the “snake”, you need to completely stop the car and engage neutral gear;
3. by 5 points You can be punished for a mistake if the future driver deviates from the given trajectory or knocks down elements that serve as space limiters;
4. by 5 points will be given if the examinee crosses the horizontal marking line or the “STOP” line;
5. by 3 points given if the future driver makes the following mistakes:

  • will not engage neutral after stopping;
  • will not apply the handbrake after stopping in a parking zone.

6. if the engine stalls during the maneuver, then they will be removed for this 1 point.

To carry out the exercise, use a curved corridor, which is limited by chips. It involves one smooth turn to the left and then a smooth turn to the right.

Corridor width 3.9 m, which is approximately 2 widths passenger car.

External arc radius 7.3 m. It's also slightly larger than the turning radius of a passenger car.

Other

The following maneuvers are also performed on the exam site:

  • reversing on the site;
  • driving in reverse into the box and leaving it () The box, in this case, imitates a garage. The platform is an imaginary box into which you need to drive the car in reverse.

    In practice, this can be not only a garage, but also any parking space. Accordingly, you need to drive into the garage, but not hit its “walls” or “neighboring cars.” Garage dimensions: length equal to the length of the car + 1 m, width, equal to the width of the car + 1 m, the maneuver distance from the garage to the restrictive markers is equal to the length of the car + 1 m;

  • parking a car and leaving a parking space ();
  • If the race track is automated, then you also need to take an exercise such as driving through a controlled intersection.

Errors

Unfortunately, future drivers make mistakes while taking the test.

Depending on the severity of the error, they may remove 1, 3 and 5 points.

If the examinee makes mistakes, he will be awarded penalty points:

  • 1 point given for some minor mistake;
  • 3 points indicate an average level error;
  • 5 points- this is a gross mistake.

If the future driver receives 5 points, this indicates that he did not pass the exam. In a week he will come back for a retake.

If all exercises are completed correctly and there are no penalty points, then the future driver receives a “pass” mark.

After a certain period of time, he can visit the traffic police department and get his driver’s license.

Penalty areas

From September 1, 2016, new rules for taking the test at the race track for novice motorists are being introduced in Russia.

Legislators, making changes to traffic rules, pursued the goal of increasing the level of safety on the roads, since, according to official statistics from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, a greater number of accidents occur precisely due to the actions of inexperienced drivers. And people who have managed to take several classes in the theoretical part are now increasingly wondering how to pass the autodrome.

Unfortunately, driving school students not only have to drive correctly, but also be trained by a good instructor. The qualifications of the latter not least determine how the exam will go at the race track. Additionally, it is equally important to know what exercises will be expected.

New rules - elements on the circuit

In 2018, novice drivers must comply with the following passing rules:

  1. Stop and start going uphill.

To complete this exercise, you must start from the first mark marked on the route and press the brake pedal near the second, driving no more than one meter further than it.

  1. Entering the garage from the back.

Having stopped within a given line, the novice driver reverses into the garage. There he brakes, after which he takes the car back to the race track.

  1. Parallel parking.

The exercise is considered one of the most difficult. The driver needs to place the car at a certain point, then drive between imaginary cars and leave this area.

  1. Turning around in a confined space.

It is considered one of the simplest exercises when passing exams on the circuit. To pass it, the student must stop at a given point, and then turn around within the outlined territory. In this case, you are only allowed to shift the gear into reverse once.

New elements of the circuit

New elements that have been introduced for novice drivers when passing exams at the circuit:

  1. Rotate 90 degrees. Actions similar to the previous exercise are performed in a confined space.
  2. Driving through a road intersection. Applicable only on automated racing tracks.
  3. Riding like a snake. It is necessary to make turns left and right along a smooth trajectory.

It is important to note that only those who have passed the traffic rules knowledge test can enter the site.

To successfully pass driving on a race track, you will need to complete the first three exercises from the old rules and two from the new ones (chosen by the examiner).

Reasons for failure

It will be difficult to pass the race track in half a kick if a novice driver:

  1. Feels unsure of himself.

Driving on a race track, like any other test, often causes anxiety and excitement. Moreover, their appearance is often not affected in any way by the experience of a novice driver. To suppress feelings of anxiety before passing traffic rules or entering the race track, it is recommended to take sedatives.

  1. Inattention.

The second most common reason for failing your driving test. This is primarily due to the fact that a novice driver has little experience, so it is difficult for him to concentrate simultaneously on the road and on road signs, while eliminating distractions.

  1. Low level of training.

Passing the driver's license exam always begins with passing the race track.

The inspector, before allowing a newcomer onto city highways, needs to find out whether this person is actually able to cope with driving the car and whether he knows the rules of the road.

This approach reduces the likelihood of an accident due to driver actions.

Exam preparation

So how to pass the exam? First of all, you need to prepare for it by performing a number of fairly simple steps:

  1. Choose suitable clothes.

Beginners are advised to wear shoes with thin soles. It allows you to better feel the pedals and adjust the pressing force. Shoes should not be wide. Otherwise, the likelihood of a beginner accidentally pressing two pedals at the same time increases.

From outerwear, you should choose one that fits comfortably. Coats and jackets should be removed before getting into the car. Also, do not wear clothes with wide sleeves.

  1. Speed selection.

You are given 2 minutes to complete all exercises on the race track. This is enough time to go through all the obstacles. To successfully complete tasks, you should not drive around the site. It is enough to move in first gear.

  1. Before starting, check whether the car's handbrake is released.

Quite often, novice drivers who are nervous forget that the car is held in place by the parking brake.

  1. Drive a lap around the race track before the test begins.

Not every instructor will agree to allow the examinee to complete one lap before performing the main exercises. This approach allows you to refresh your knowledge and skills.

Features of passing the exam

Before passing the site, it is necessary to evaluate its relief. The surface of most race tracks is laid at a certain angle, which can create certain difficulties when passing it. For example, after stopping it suddenly starts moving backwards. This circumstance must be taken into account during the exam.

As practice shows, you can complete all the exercises both at the very beginning and among the last examinees. However, it is the first ones who successfully pass the platform more often than others.

This is due to the fact that a long wait makes a person nervous. Accordingly, he becomes less confident. In addition, some examiners, seeing that all students have successfully completed the exercises, seek to stop this practice.

Schematically, the exam proceeds as follows: the student gets into the car, goes through all the specified exercises, stops the car and leaves it. If he did not make any mistakes, then the examiner does not report himself in any way. Otherwise, it sounds a sound signal, after which you must leave the car.

Innovations for other categories of transport

On September 1, 2016, new examination rules were introduced, which are valid in 2018 and apply to all types of vehicles.

Beginner motorcyclists must do the following:

  1. Maneuver in a limited area.
  2. Drive around the circuit with braking at the speed set by the examiner.
  3. Park the motorcycle.
  4. Make a stop in a place that is safe for boarding/disembarking people.

In addition, all examination actions that were carried out previously must now be completed in one go.
